This map shows the death location for Spaniards who died in combat and from non-combat causes. The quantity of Spaniards who died in a location is represented with a gradual color change. The combat deaths have a red gradient and the non-combat deaths have a purple gradient, going from lightest to darkest to represent a higher number of Spaniards.
