Hermann Broch was a prolific letter writer and spent much of his life explaining and promoting his thoughts and ideas in letters. These letters show his belief that his work was worth communicating to others and that he was aware of the importance of creating and maintaining relationships and community across distances. He also used letter-writing to promote the work of his colleagues.
